Job Summary

We are an NGO, looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and passionate Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, impactful, and

audience-focused content across digital platforms, including social media, websites, blogs, fundraising campaigns, reports, and marketing materials. The role requires strong research

skills, creativity, storytelling abilities, and an understanding of NGO communication and social impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

● Research NGO websites, social media platforms, competitors, and industry trends to identify content opportunities.

● Develop and manage monthly content calendars aligned with campaigns, projects, and awareness days.

● Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, WhatsApp Channel, websites, blogs, and fundraising campaigns.

● Plan weekly content formats, including posts, reels, carousel posts, stories, and videos.

● Write captions, blogs, articles, donor appeals, beneficiary stories, campaign content, and video scripts, report writing.

● Create professional and impactful content highlighting organizational projects, CSR initiatives, partnerships, and achievements.

● Monitor social media trends, hashtags, and audience engagement to improve content performance.

● Develop SEO-friendly website and blog content through proper research and fact-checking.

● Draft fundraising messages, donation appeals, and campaign communication with strong call-to-actions.

● Assist in creating content for reports, presentations, banners, standees, certificates, and event branding materials.

● Coordinate with design and project teams to ensure content accuracy and timely delivery.

● Proofread and edit content to maintain quality, consistency, and brand guidelines.

● Maintain records of content performance and suggest improvements based on insights and trends.

● Stay updated with content marketing, SEO, and social media best practices.

Qualifications

● Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English Literature, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Media Studies, or related field.

● Candidates from B.A., B.M.M., B.M.S., B. Com (Marketing), BBA, or equivalent disciplines may also apply.

● Certification or knowledge of Digital Marketing, Content Writing, SEO, or Social Media Marketing will be an added advantage.
