Job Summary
A Space-Tech Client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer – Electrical to design, develop, and execute electrical and control systems for advanced industrial and cryogenic applications. The role involves system design, automation integration, and on-site execution support, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design complete electrical and electronic systems including control systems, power distribution, and instrumentation networks.
- Prepare and review single-line diagrams (SLDs), load calculations, cable sizing, grounding, and lighting layouts.
- Develop control philosophies, cause-and-effect matrices, and detailed wiring/termination drawings.
- Integrate PLC-based automation systems aligned with process control and safety requirements.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities at site.
- Coordinate with mechanical, instrumentation, and automation teams for system integration.
- Ensure compliance with national/international codes, standards, and client specifications.
- Review vendor documents for LT/HT panels, transformers, MCCs, and switchgear.
- Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis during commissioning and operations.
- Maintain electrical documentation including as-built drawings and project close-out reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in electrical design and execution (industrial or cryogenic systems preferred).
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, cabling, terminations, and control network architecture.
- Experience with LT/HT panel design, transformer selection, and protection schemes.
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients/consultants.
- Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar electrical design software.
