Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in cryogenic systems, pressure vessels, and piping design. The role involves leading the design, engineering, and execution of advanced rocket engine test and launch infrastructure, ensuring compliance with global safety and engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of cryogenic systems, including:
- Pressure vessels
- Piping layouts
- P&IDs
- Detailed engineering drawings
- Design and validate cryogenic components for extreme temperature and pressure conditions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards:
- PESO
- SMPV
- ASME
- IBR
- EN
- Oversee site execution activities, including:
- Layout verification
- System integration
- Commissioning
- Construction support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams:
- Civil
- Electrical
- Instrumentation
- Drive project delivery by balancing:
- Technical accuracy
- Timelines
- Cost constraints
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in:
- Mechanical design
- Cryogenic systems
- Pressure vessels
- Piping systems
- Strong proficiency in:
- AutoCAD
- Autodesk Inventor
- SolidWorks
- In-depth knowledge of applicable engineering standards:
- PESO, SMPV, ASME, IBR, EN
- Proven experience in leading complex engineering projects
- Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills
Preferred Competencies
- Experience in rocket engine test facilities or industrial gas systems
- Exposure to high-pressure and cryogenic fluid handling systems
- Strong problem-solving ability in multidisciplinary environments
