Role Overview As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a strategic role in shaping the company’s technology landscape. You will define and govern architectural standards, collaborate with leadership to align IT strategy with business goals, and drive modernization of enterprise platforms while ensuring scalability, security, and performance. You will be a key contributor to high-impact technology decisions across business domains, working closely with engineering, product management, and client delivery teams. Key Responsibilities Enterprise Architecture & Strategy Define and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, principles, standards, and best practices. Translate business strategy into technical strategy and solution roadmaps. Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to drive innovation, cost efficiency, and competitive advantage. Ensure architectural alignment across business units and projects. Solution Design & Governance Design enterprise-level solution blueprints including applications, platforms, data, integration, and infrastructure. Provide architectural oversight and governance for large cross-functional initiatives. Review technical designs from project teams to ensure consistency with the target architectural vision. Develop reference architectures, reusable patterns, and implementation guidelines. Collaboration & Leadership Partner with senior stakeholders (CTO, Product Heads, Engineering Directors) to define transformation initiatives. Mentor and guide technical leads and architects on architectural patterns, scalability, and best practices. Act as an architect evangelist across the organization—leading workshops, reviews, and architectural discussions. Risk & Quality Define non-functional requirements standards (e.g., security, scalability, performance, reliability). Identify architecture risks and provide mitigation plans. Collaborate with security and compliance teams to embed best practices into architecture. Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, solution design, or technical leadership roles. Strong experience defining and implementing enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF/ Zachman or similar). Proven track record of architecting large-scale distributed systems across cloud & on-premise environments. Hands-on experience with modern architectural patterns such as microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, etc. Deep expertise in one or more technology stacks (e.g., Java/.NET, Node.js, Python) and cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP). Solid knowledge of security, compliance, data architecture, integration, and DevOps practices. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills. Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments and leading cross-functional teams. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Enterprise architecture certification (TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) preferred.
